April General Meeting
On Sunday, 183 Juniors/Explorers from around Nassau County joined together for the NCJFA’s annual April general meeting. Old and new business was discussed regarding the 5th Annual Camp Fahrenheit 516 coming up this July, Our Annual Hazmat training Day hosted by the Hicksville FD, upcoming fundraisers to support the NCJFA, and NCJFA day at Adventure Park Long Island. Also, Joseph Battaglia of the Nassau County Fire Marshals office was our guest speaker. Alongside his dog ATF K9 Pilot they demonstrated how they search for accelerants at suspicious fire scenes.
