Annual Training at the NCFSA
Today 211 Juniors/Explorers from 23 different Fire Companies came together once again for a training day at the Nassau County Fire Service Academy in Bethpage NY. They went through Evolution's such as Forcible Entry, Mask Confidence, Search and Rescue, Ground Ladders, Aerial Ladders, and Hose Advancement. The were treated to a great BBQ Lunch sponsored and prepared by Great Neck the hungry future firefighters went through 300 hamburgers and 250 hotdogs and 20 Lbs of salads, A huge apatite from the great training given by the 43 instructors that helped out that day. We would of course like to thank the VEEB Board and the entire FSA Staff and Instructors for this day.
